Terms and Conditions

In these Terms and Conditions "we" and "us" mean A & A Naidu Pty Ltd trading as Stax Electrical - ABN: 18 074 493 575 of 1/177 Arthur St Homebush West NSW 2140 and "you" and "your" means you the customer.

These Terms and Conditions together with your order constitute the entire Contract between us and you for the supply of Products. No other Terms and Conditions will apply. The Contract cannot be varied unless we agree to vary it in writing or by email prior to the event.

Legal Capacity to Transact

If you are under the age eighteen (18) years you cannot place orders with Stax Appliances.

By accepting these Terms and Conditions you acknowledge that you are over the age of eighteen (18) years. Any orders placed and accepted by us will be deemed to be by persons over the age of eighteen (18) years.

Should Stax Appliances suffer any damage or other losses as a result of a transaction entered into by a minor, Stax Appliances reserves the right to seek compensation for such losses from the parents or guardians of the minor who caused any order(s) to be placed with Stax Appliances.

Placing Your Order

You may place your order by filling in the order form on this website. When you place your order, we will issue you with an order number. We will do this by email. By placing an order, you make an offer to us to purchase the products you have selected based on these Terms and Conditions.

We will confirm acceptance of your order when we send you an email confirming shipment of the goods you have ordered.

If we cannot process or accept your order after payment is received we will contact you by email or telephone.

Stax Appliances reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at its sole discretion.

Payment Methods and Processing

Stax Appliances accepts Visa, MasterCard and Polipay. Payment can also be made by EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer) / Direct Deposit to our bank account. Orders paid for by direct deposit will not be processed until payment has been fully received. Please ensure that you include the order/ invoice number in the transaction description. Payment processing will not begin until we receive all the information we need.

Orders placed on a weekend or a public holiday will not begin payment/shipping processing until the next business day. Business days are Monday through to Friday, excluding NSW public holidays.

We process credit card payments after you click the "Confirm & Process Payment" button at checkout.

For credit card payments we will email a tax invoice to you with your order confirmation. Your tax invoice is your proof of purchase.

Please Note:

We will not accept credit cards issued by banks outside of Australia. Our preference in this instance is EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer) / Direct Deposit or Polipay.

Debit cards and cheque cards have daily spending limits that may substantially delay the processing of your order. You may be required to provide further identification for additional security reference checks.


All prices quoted on this website are inclusive of GST. The total GST paid will be clearly marked on the invoice provided.


Stax Appliances always seeks to list Products with the most competitive prices. Stax Appliances reserves the right to change prices for Products displayed at the Stax Appliances website at any time.

Supply of Products

Subject to these Terms and Conditions, we will supply to you the Products indicated on your order confirmation. When your ordered items have been dispatched, we will email you to confirm shipment of each item including a tracking number for each item.


If you wish to cancel your order, Email your cancellation to care@staxappliances.com.au or ring 029716 5600 immediately so the order placed is not dispatched or processed. No cancellation can be made once goods have been dispatched. A 10% restocking fee plus the return freight will be apply for cancellation made after purchase.

Purchasing a Gift Certificate

When you purchase and/or use a Stax Appliances Gift Certificate and tick the box that says 'I understand and accept the Terms and Conditions' in checkout, you become legally bound by these terms and conditions. Please do not proceed to purchase/use your Stax Appliances Gift Certificate until you have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions. Gift Certificate Refunds

30 Day Change-of-Mind Refund Policy

If you have purchased a Gift Certificate and you are not completely satisfied with your choice, you can request a refund of the value within 30 days of the purchase date. The refund excludes any delivery or transaction fees paid at the time of purchase. Conditions of Refund: 1. Refunds are only permitted for valid Gift Certificates that have not been used, i.e. where a product(s) hasn’t been ordered and dispatched for delivery. Once you have ordered a product(s) your gift certificate cannot be cancelled and is not refundable. 2. The refund will be processed back to the purchaser only. 5. After the elapse of 30 days from the purchase date, no refunds will be granted.

Transfer of Gift Certificates

All valid and unused Gift Certificates are fully transferable. Stax Appliances accepts no responsibility for any stolen or fraudulent Gift Certificates. It is the holder's responsibility to ensure the safe keeping of the Gift Certificate(s).

Lost Gift Certificates

If a Gift Certificate is received and subsequently lost, the recipient may be eligible to have a replacement Certificate emailed to them. Conditions for replacement of lost Gift Certificates:
1. The Certificate is still valid and has not yet been exchanged or used.

2. Proof of purchase is provided; either an order number, purchaser's full name or purchaser's email address.

3. Stax Appliances is able to correctly verify you as the original recipient. Please note it is the Certificate recipient's responsibility to obtain and provide Stax Appliances with all required verification details. Failure to do so will mean no replacement Certificate can be issued.

Gift Certificate Expiry & Extensions

Stax Appliances Gift Certificates must be used within 12 months of purchase. Expired Certificates are non-refundable in whole or in part. After a Certificate has expired, it is no longer valid and all transaction attempts will be declined. Any unused value at the date of expiry will become the property of Stax Appliances. The expiry date is given with every Gift Certificate. Reminders are also sent weeks leading to expiry.

Gift Certificate Delivery

It is the responsibility of the purchaser to correctly address Gift Certificates, whether by email or post. Stax Appliances cannot be held responsible for any damaged, missing or delayed orders where incorrect or incomplete delivery details (address and, if relevant, appropriate delivery instructions) have been provided.

Gift Certificate Delivery via Email

Stax Appliances is not liable or responsible for any loss suffered as a result of a Gift Certificate via email being blocked by filters or firewalls, or where the incorrect email address has been entered by the purchaser. If the recipient does not receive the email Gift Certificate, please contact us immediately on 02 9716 5600 to send the Certificate to an alternative email address.

Gift Certificate Delivery via Standard Post

Standard Post delivery is via Australia Post. Stax Appliances accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss or delay as a result of using Australia Post's service. If for any reason your Gift Certificate doesn’t arrive, please contact us immediately and we can arrange for the Gift Certificate emailed to you free of charge.

Return Policy

If you have received the incorrect product or a damaged product please Email us on care@staxappliances.com.au or ring 02 9716 5600 immediately.

Small Appliances – we might choose to issue a paid return consignment via email which can be printed and returned to us via your local post office. It is our policy to have the incorrect or damaged product returned to us before we ship out the correct product/replacement, issue a refund or credit. Products that are returned without our prior instructions and are lost in transit will be assumed as not being returned.

Large Appliances – we might choose to use the same courier that delivered the product to organise the return or swap over. An inspection might be required via the manufacturer’s service agent and the outcome will be based on their warranty terms and conditions.

If you have received an incorrect product we will exchange it free of charge, issue a refund or credit considering that this is brought to our attention immediately (within 30 days) and that the product has been unused and in its original packing for resale.

No REFUNDS or EXCHANGE will be provided, if you change your mind or buy the wrong product so please choose carefully before you check out.

Delivery Charges

Shipping is free to any location within Australia unless stated otherwise. Stax Appliances reserves the right to change prices for delivery at any time. 

Delivery Times

Small appliances are shipped free to any location within Australia via Australia Post and will dispatch between 1-5 days of placing an order, if unforeseen delays are expected this will be communicated either by phone or email within 1-2 working days.

Large appliances (TVs over 32”, fridges, ovens, laundry appliances, air conditioning etc.) are shipped free to all Metro locations within Australia, unless the item specifies Sydney Metro only. Some brands are delivered Australia Wide e.g. LG or Delonghi. To see if you qualify for a Metro Delivery, enter your postcode in 'Calculate Shipping’ and press the Calculate button.

Sydney Metro Appliance deliveries may take between 1-3 workings days to be delivered by one of our drivers and prior confirmation on time and date will be communicated. To see if you qualify for a Sydney Metro Delivery, enter your postcode in 'Calculate Shipping’ and press the Calculate button.

After hours and Saturday deliveries are available for Sydney Metro areas. Inquiry before placing your order.

Removal & Installation We offer Free Removal and Installation of appliances with most of our Whitegoods to Metro Locations Only. Check under Available Options / Installation & Removal if any services apply. If you are in Sydney Metro and the service is not specified, a $35 Removal fee will apply per item. Our courier will install and remove your old appliance and packing at no extra cost.

Although every effort is made to fulfil your order according to the ETA (estimated time of arrival) provided, ETA’s may change due to changes in supply, stock availability or circumstances beyond our control. If your product has not arrived after the ETA provided, Email your enquiry to care@Stax Appliances.com.au or ring 02 9716 5600.

All orders on this website are processed within 24 hours from Monday - Friday.

Products Damaged in Transit

We recommend you thoroughly inspect your products prior to signing for your delivery. If you notice any damages, please REFUSE the delivery or Email us on care@staxappliances.com.au or ring 02 9716 5600 immediately.

Photo proof of the damages will be required. Customer service will assess the damage and if applicable will organise an exchange, refund or credit. Stax Appliances will pay the freight cost (small appliances only) if the product is being returned by supplying an Australia Post Return Label. Goods must be returned complete in their original packaging. You will need to attach the label and take the goods to the Post Office for despatch.

Please allow up to 10 days turnaround for the replacement of damaged goods (longer for WA and remote areas). Replacements cannot be despatched until damaged goods are received.

Faulty Products

Stax Appliances provides NEW and quality products. We will endeavour to supply you with the product or products you have ordered in good condition. However, in the unfortunate event that your product may be faulty as a result of a manufacturing defect from our suppliers, Email us on care@staxappliances.com.au or ring 02 9716 5600 immediately.

Dead On Arrival (DOA) products – are products you have just received or are within 15 or 30 days of receiving the product. Please Email us on care@staxappliances.com.au or ring 02 9716 5600 immediately for further instructions.

In the event, outside our DOA policy, for small appliances, if your product becomes faulty under warranty, it will be the customer's responsibility to return the item to Stax Appliances if the item is more than 60 days from date of delivery. For larger appliances an inspection might be required via the manufacturer’s service agent and the outcome will be based on their warranty terms and conditions.

Once we are notified we may choose the return method listed under Returns depending on the product. Please note that Stax Appliances will endeavour to rectify any return enquiries to the best of our ability, product availability and resources available to us.

For products returned to Stax Appliances once Warehouse confirms receipt of the product, we will inspect the faulty item. If the product returned is not deemed faulty it will be returned back to the customer, return charges may apply. If the product is deemed faulty you will have the option of an exchange or refund.

Damage caused to your products through incorrect usage, contrary to manufacturer instructions, negligence, or accidental breakage to the product will not be covered, nor refunded.

Limitation of Liability

Information on this website is provided 'as is' and we disclaim all representations, warranties and conditions, express or implied of any kind, including to the extent permitted by law, as to satisfactory quality or fit for purpose.

Errors on Our Site

Prices and availability of products and services are subject to change without notice. Errors will be corrected where discovered, and We reserve the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions including after an order has been submitted and whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged.


This website and its contents are subject to copyright. Other than for the purposes of fair dealing, criticism, review, study or research, you may not copy, print or store by electronic or any other means a part or the whole of this website or its contents.


You shall not assign any rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions whether in whole or in part without the prior written consent of Stax Appliances. Any unauthorized assignment shall be deemed null and void.

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the validity of the other provisions of these Terms and Conditions and the remainder of the provisions in question shall not be affected thereby.

Under the Trade Practices Act 1974 ("Act"), where implied conditions and warranties cannot be excluded, any liability in Stax Appliances for breach of such conditions and warranties (other than a condition or warranty implied by section 69 of the Act) shall be limited, at the option Stax Appliances, to the replacement of the Product(s) or the re-supply of the same Product(s); the payment of the cost of replacing the Product(s) or of acquiring equivalent Product(s).

Neither our failure nor your failure to enforce any Term or Condition constitutes a waiver of such Term or Condition. Such failure shall in no way affect the right to later enforce such Term or Condition.

Stax Appliances reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions of sale at any time.

No Stax Appliances employee or agent has the authority to vary any of the Terms and Conditions governing any sale.

Force Majeure

Stax Appliances shall not be liable for any delay in performing any of its obligations under these Terms and Conditions if such delay is caused by circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Stax Appliances, and Stax Appliances shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of time for the performance of such obligations.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales and shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
